The Gallardo, named after a famous breed of fighting bulls, marks the first time in over 10 years that Lamborghini will offer a second model line. The Gallardo, originally code named the L140, is a 4-wheel drive mid-engine sports car that is powered by an all-new V10 cylinder engine capable of a stunning 500 horsepower. The car also features a 6 -speed gearbox with a traditional gearshift or a new sequential e-gear with shift paddles on the steering column.
