| 2001 Subaru Impreza WRX STi New Age - White (AUTOart) 1/18 Diecast Model Car
Codenamed MY01, the 2001 Subaru New Age WRX STi with 4-cylinder turbocharged Boxer engine retains the previous model's power output of 280 bhp, but torque has been increased by 20 Nm to 373 Nm and total weight has increased by 160 kilos. A stiffer chassis, less body roll and less understeer makes the new STi a more complete car, even if it is no quicker than the old one. Externally, the STi is differentiated by wider gold-colored 17" wheels with 326 mm Brembo front brakes, a larger bonnet air scoop, the STi logo on the fog lamp cover and clear free-form quad headlights integrated with the indicators. It is also the first Subraru to have fitted the all-new 6-speed gearbox that has been developed in-house. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just over 5 seconds.
